Well, if you did not watch the game after ESPN ran a mock landslide scoring poll against the Maize 'n Blue, you should be ashamed. It was a heckuva game. So good that this writer is actually donating his time, resources and money to publish this Blog today.
The Wolverines showed up and probably saved the lasting pride of this year's crop of Seniors by soundly dominating the Minnesota Golden Gophers who appeared only 2 weeks ago to be marching off with 2 other undefeated Big Ten teams. Michigan took the clock, the yards and the defense turned the tables completely upside-down while crushing the Gophers 29 - 6.
Coach Rodriguez didn't have to scream at anybody this time because there were few bone-headed plays (except for the kick-off to start the 2nd half) and no turnovers and actually a spirited defense who went to a 4-2-5 and stymied Minnesota. Thank God. The Jug stays at Schembechler Hall another 3 years.
