| After some concerns surfaced, Prince Fielder went 4-for-4 on Saturday and hopefully silenced the detractors once and for all. |
Now we're playing Tiger Baseball.
It appeared that Jim Leyland was more concerned about biting his hang-nail than he was about the batting order after Detroit ripped 6-hits-in-a-row and took command of the game.
That's because the Tigers broke it out in the 5th inning with six straight hits on starter Carl Pavano who suffered his 4th loss in 6 starts this year. It could not come at a better time.
Remarkable as it may sound - this is the first back-to-back set of victories for Detroit since April 18th. They have been doing the dosey doe for the most part since then.
Enjoy it. And whether or not - or - weather or not - we'll be at CUBS' AC and Colonial Lanes this week-end (Saturday-Sunday ONLY) looking to put a smile on the face of anybody that happens by.
