London Olympics Turning
Red, White & Blue
The Yankees did avoid the sweep Wednesday night at Comerica, but it was the US Delegation in London which captured the limelight. The "gold rush" was on. On this day the Chinese athletes scored again, but the total medal count now favors the Americans.
We're heading into the 13th day and just over 3 days to go before the closing ceremonies. The USA has earned 81 total medals but trails in Gold to China. With the basketball and more individual athletics medals to be had, it would appear that America will edge out the Asians and claim overall victory once again.
So if you are ready to grab a
look at the London games OR maybe the Tigers taking on the Yankees Thursday afternoon (weather permitting) you can rely on us. Here at CUBS' AC we are
keeping the beer frosty
cold in the coolers. Grab a
few!
Join us at CUBS' AC (in the bar that faces the giant car wash) and we'll see if the German Women's Beach Volleyball Team captures your imagination or maybe the canoe or sailing finals. What a choice. Watch the game(s) on our big screens while chowing down on a Philly Cheese Steak Pizza!!
