Wolverines Continue Their
Perfect Season in
Conference Opener
The Michigan Wolverines took on the Northwestern Wildcats on their home court and still performed perfectly to open B1G Conference play Thursday night. Tim Hardaway, Jr. returned after his one game pause, and got right back in his groove scoring 21 points including a blistering 4 out of 5 three-pointers. Trey Burke, Nik Stauskas and Glen Robinson III stayed solid, though Stauskas was only 2-7 in his 3-point attempts.
John Beilein has now elevated the 2nd best start in Michigan history under his steady coaching and leadership since taking the controls in Ann Arbor at Crisler Arena back in 2007.
The Wolverines have their best season start since 1985-86 at 14-0, and with tough opponents coming up in the next 3 games it could be a thriller -- but word has it that the team remains un-fazed by the attention and stays focused on one game at a time.
John Beilein has really crafted a superior squad in these Wolverines. Michigan is still #2 behind Duke in the polls, but the season is a different story when it is conference play. The team returns to Ann Arbor next Sunday for a game at Noon. Join Us!!
