This time it was different. Mitch McGary scored a double-double with 10 points in the first half, and virtually willed the Wolverines into the lead and eventual victory. We saw a lot more of the familiar undefeated warriors we knew during the non-conference season games. In fact: The Michigan Wolverines tied the tournament record for the fewest turnovers at 4.

Michigan now takes on the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2nd round of tourney action Friday afternoon around 1:30 or 2:00pm. This is only the 2nd meeting this season between them. Bucky won the OT contest in Madison earlier this year.
