Well.........I guess it is not fair to call them traitors, actually. Maybe the best opportunity for the former Championship Tigers Stars was to spread their magic in another city. After all - Alan Trammell tried his best to manage the Tigers for 3 seasons and that was all we could have hoped for at the time.
A tough and nail-biting evening which was tied at 6 runs in the eighth ended on a towering HR blast by Arizona's extremely rare NL DH Pena and the result was another black eye for Phil Coke. For the record the losing pitcher was Purcey - but Coke gave up 6 earned runs on 7 hits and dug a hole the Tigers could not crawl out of.
We are at it again at CUBS' AC on Saturday evening and chowing down on that great creation from the kitchen - The Philly Cheese Steak Pizza! Join us and we'll watch the game on the big screens.....
