One For The Books

This game showed us the same again.  The rest of the American League is tired of Detroit getting all of the hype.

It showed everywhere.  Lots of disputed calls and a couple New York ejections and a crazy offensive performance in batting and so on.  It was very fun for a change.

The Tigers are the "Bad Boys" of baseball it seems.  Maybe this is an omen.  They better start playing this way consistently or those darned White Sox are going to run away with it, even though Chicago dropped a game in the division lead.

The Tigers top the Yanks 4-3.  Thanks in the largest part to Cabbie, but the unsung heroes - Berry, Santos, Santiago and Kelly did their parts, too.  Today we close out this series against these Bronx Bombers.
 

Here at CUBS' AC we'll surely have the game on the big screens - and trying to sit near the kitchen getting a whiff of those great Pepperoni Twists (a CUBS' Favorite) - and handling a thirst for more wins.  Be here.
